This is a land of contrasts - a Mediterranean climate with winter
rainfall is the pattern in the Southwestern Cape (May to August).
The remainder of the country enjoys mostly warm sunny weather throughout
the year, with occasional showers of rain falling in the summer
months (September to April).
Because of the mildness of our weather and the length of autumn
and spring, South Africa is an excellent vacation destination, with
mostly warm bright days and mild nights in the summer months. Nights
